'Hello, my name is Joel Kornowski, owner of Common 2 Custom Stone & Tile.

I relocated to the Door County area in 2004 to begin my career as an illustrator. Although in 2005, I was looking for work when I found an ad by Carpet one looking for a tile assistant. I soon began my on the job training, finding the work to be challenging and rewarding, as well as a way to use my creative abilities.

A few years later I was promoted to the lead tile position and continued to further my knowledge in materials and techniques. In 2011, my goal of forming my own business became a reality.

As an artist, I look forward to capturing your vision your space. As a tile specialist, I will install your tile to the highest of industry standards, with high performance grouts and mortars. From large format tile to micro mosaics, you can be assured that the work will be done promptly and by a courteous professional.
